MySQL (database) backups are automatically created and can be downloaded daily from 8 o’clock in the morning via FTP. The packed SQL files (.sql.bz2) are located in the folder „backups“ above the web folder /htdocs. It’s best to create a new FTP account and select the folder „backups“.
The backups are overwritten daily.
Website backups
Simpy download and save the files of your website (htdocs folder) via FTP client (FileZilla) on your local PC.
Please save regularly SQL, FTP and email backups on your local PC. Emails of your mailboxes can be downloaded via an email client (Outlook, Thunderbird). Set-up your email client so that the original messages remain on the server (POP3 advanced settings).
