All contracts for domains, hosting, VPS, Exchange, Cloud Server and SSL Certs can be automatically extended if the payment is received 24 hours before the expiration date.
The system sends invoices (35 days before expiration) and reminders to the email address stored in your customer profile (ClientArea).
Payment can be made by Paypal, Credit Card or Bank Transfer, please note eventl. longer booking times for bank transfers to ensure that the payments for renewal are received in time before expiration.
If storage space or features are no longer sufficient, you can upgrade your hosting, cloud hosting, reseller and email packages at any time.
Please log into your client area and navigate to the services, click on the current service you want to upgrade and select an upgrade.
You can terminate your account in your customer account (ClientArea) under Services.
Select service> Cancel.
Termination notice: 30 days before expiry of the term. If theres an delay in payment, the account will be deleted.
Please make sure that your payment for your domains is received at least 24 hours before the domain expires.
After expiration of the payment period, the registrar will block the domain for 30 days (quarantine) after expiration, the domain can be registered again, or can be re-activated immediately in case of payment of a restore fee to the respective registrar.
The amount of the restoration fee is different, f.ex. .LU Domains 35 EUR + the respective registration fee.
The restoration fees can be viewed on the websites of the respective registrars or can be requested from us.
Please click the Transfer button on the Domains page and enter the domain name which you want to transfer.
Important: Please make sure that you can receive the registered email of the domain owner, the registrar sends an email containing a confirmation link to this email for authorization of the transfer.
If the email address of the owner is no longer up-to-date, please change this at your old provider to your current email adress before the transfer.
Some domain names require a so-called EPP or Auth code, which you can get from your provider on request.
A domain transfer without authorization of the registered owner (owner email) is not possible.
You can terminate your account in your customer account (ClientArea) under
Services (Domains). Select domain> Cancel.
Termination notice: 30 days before expiry of the term. In case of default of payment, the domain will be deleted.
Before setting up your email clients (Outlook, Thunderbird etc), please test your login data for the respective email account via Webmail.
Email clients login in permanently with faulty logins lead to the fact that your IP address is blocked for approx. 30 minutes by the Bruteforce Detection and thus no reception or dispatch is possible.
If you have ensured that your logins are correct via Webmail (ControlPanel> Email> Webmail), you can use them to set up the clients.
If you want to use an encrypted connection

It is recommended to use SSL/TLS connections only.
The mailserver settings can be found in your access data to the ControlPanel which we have sent.
It is not allowed to send unwanted emails and bulk or mass emails, this will block the account.

1. Please make sure that the SMTP, POP3 Server is used, which we have sent in your ControlPanel access data.
2. Please check the email access you have set up via Webmail. URL for Webmail see access data ControlPanel.
Make sure that none of your devices uses the wrong login, otherwise the Bruteforce Detection will block your IP for 30 minutes. If a faulty account is set up on a device, remove it or enter the correct login data.
3. You may have too many concurrent connections, or the polling interval is set too low. A sync. or call-off should be at least have an interval of4-5 minutes, so check the setting for new emails an put it on min. 4 minutes.
If your DSL provider blocks the default SMTP port 25, you can change the SMTP port to 587
4. If your IP address for your Internet access is listed on too many Blacklists, it can be that our firewall blocks your connection. In this case, you may try to restart your router to obtain a new IP address. If you have a fixed IP address, ask your internet provider to give you a new IP that is not listed on blacklists.

All files must be uploaded into the folder "htdocs". Use index.html or index.php as filename for the home page.
GLOBE.LU automatically creates daily backups of the complete system, which will be overwritten with the current data after 2 days.
Customer backups:
SQL (database) Backups are created daily. The packed SQL files (.sql.bz2) are located in the folder "backups" above the web folder / htdocs ready for download.
The best way to do this is to create a new FTP account through the administration, selecting the folder "backups". The backups are overwritten daily.
Simply download the files of the Webs via FTP Client and save on the local PC.
Please note that you should also periodically download the mails of your mailboxes via an email program (e.g., Outlook) and save them locally.
To ensure a stable operation of our servers, unsecure and outdated scripts as well as the applications listed below are not allowed:
Outdated CMS, for example. Joomla, or Wordpress applications with security-critical leaks, please use only current up2date applications that are at the latest security level.
- So-called Nulled Sripts (software piracy) are forbidden, these accounts are immediately deleted!
- IRC robots
- Game applications, video streaming
- time-intensive scripts as well as scripts (applications) which interfere with server operation or compromise security.
Our reseller hosting packages are f.ex. suitable for web designers or smaller hosting companies with their own customer base.
You can create your own customer accounts and tariffs, which you can invoice yourself with your customers.
The tariffs can be adjusted later and you have the possibility to block or delete customer accounts.
The reseller account servers are maintained by us.
